Construction Volunteers
One of our most common volunteer activities is to work at the construction site! We build all of our homes with volunteer labor under the supervision of Garrett, our construction superivsor. We don't require any previous skill or experience! We provide all training and tools necessary. We typically build every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 8:30-3:30.
Please check out our online construction calendar where you can sign up for build days and see the schedule by clicking here.

The ReStore
Our ReStore needs volunteers to help with customer service and processing donations. The Store sells new and used building materials donated by the local community. Proceeds go towards the construction of Habitat homes in Hanover County. We especially need volunteers who can regularly lift heavy merchandise. Many vacancies! 2-4 hour commitment on a weekly, bi-weekly or monthly basis in a fun, laid-back work environment. Interested?
